Pampers Little Miracle Mission...and a giveaway!

*This giveaway has ended*

A little while back I was contacted by the folks over at Pampers to see if I'd be willing to be involved in their Little Miracle Mission. This mission is in honor of Pampers 50th Birthday and involves paying-it-forward and delivering random acts of kindness to bless new little miracles, mothers and parents.

So, let me get this right, you want to give me a $50 gift card to choose how I want to randomly bless some Mamas and babies? It's a no brainer, right?!?

I have a heart for lil wee babies and Mamas. Not only because I'm a Mama to two sweet babies, but also because it was a HUGE part of my life for a good eight or so years. Those lil wee babies and Mamas are what made my job as a high risk obstetrical and postpartum nurse so very important and special to me.

It took me awhile to figure out exactly what I wanted to do with my $50 American Express gift card...but it finally came to me:

You will soon see what this pile of cutie patootie fabric and knot pile of elastic will become. Until then...

I have good news! I KNOW you were thinking, "Huh, I'd love to be able to spend $50 any way I choose to bless a Mama and baby."

I was given ANOTHER $50 dollar American Express card from Pampers to give away to YOU, my dear readers, so that you too can be a part of the Little Miracle Mission Challenge!

To win: Enter a comment explaining how YOU personally would use a $50 American Express card to pay it forward and deliver a random act of kindness to a new little miracle, mother or parent.

There are so many needs in this world and I am looking forward to seeing what YOUR ideas are! I'll choose a winner on Tuesday, June 28th, based on... well, whatever idea I like the best :)

Check out the cutie babies on this 50th Celebration of Pampers Little Miracle Mission, found HERE. Look for the lil baby who smiles :) So cute!

I would buy some fabric and make some burp cloths and blankets and donate them to the local pregnancy crisis center where my friend volunteers. It would be wonderful to be able to pay it forward.

I'd get baby diapers and wipes to donate to our local shelters and our church for low income new moms. I'm sure they could use some help for their little ones. In addition, with coupons help, I'd like to get some gift baskets for people who suffer from tornado last month in our state.

I would use it to help my sister, a new mama of a miracle preemie, fill her freezer so that she doesn't have to worry about what to eat when she finally takes her little guy home! - Carly

I would make a care package for a Momma arriving at the hospital. Contents = package of Newborn diapers, a sassy robe for Momma and some sweet burp cloths/diaper covers for baby.

I am throwing a baby shower for a friend next month, and I would use this to get her something she needs. =)

I would use it to buy diaper flannel and make diapers. My two daughters are expecting babies this fall and winter and can't afford disposable diapers.

So easy - I would knit baby blankets and donate them to All Children's Hospital. I know from my two girls, nothing is as soothing as something soft and cuddly - and my babies love their blankies... one has even taken her's to college! I am guessing with that amount of money, I could make an entire floor of miracles, Mamas and parents happy.

There's a local church near us sending help to Haiti. With $50 a Haitian family would receive a survival kit. I think that the people of Haiti have suffered the worst of anyone in the Western Hemisphere and could really use the help.

I would buy all the basic baby necessities and just outside the supermarket I would find the 1st mother/grandmother with small baby on her lap sitting on the hot floor with empty plastic cup raised and give her the bags full of desperately needed stuff! It would certainly make more than their day! (and mine)

I would donate the money to Rachel's Faith where it would be used to train women and girls in Ethiopia a trade and keep them off the streets and help them provide for their families...so that ultimately they don't have to relinquish their children for adoption.

I would buy diapers and wipes for my friend in need. My heart breaks for her and her family. She is 30 years old and is dealing with liver cancer, after already having 1 eye removed due to cancer 2 years ago. Her son is only 5 motnhs old. She has alot of finacial stress and is so strong but she really does need alot of help and prayers. They had a benefit for her already but you can check it out on her fb-benefit for tiffany blair. She had a round of chemo about 4 weeks ago and had to have the treatment in a different state due to getting an experiement treatment-she was away from her baby for 10 days- i cant imagine the feeling. Now she is home and is weak and cant pick up her baby :(
She is such a strong person and needs lots of support-thanks so much.

My best friend's sister-in-law just lost her baby due to delivery complications. She had quit her job to stay home with their baby. I'd pay it forward by giving them the card. I'm sure it would be a blessing to them.

I would make patriotic hair bows/bands for moms/daughters for when their deployed loved ones come home or when they deploy. Not only will our little patriots look adorable, but so will their mamas!
